The things people ask before they call

Short, honest answers. If yours is not here, drop Jan a line and she will get back to you properly.

How long does it take to set up a Hong Kong company? +
Once Jan has your documents and the name is cleared, a straightforward Hong Kong company is usually formed within a few working days. More complex structures or other jurisdictions can take a little longer, and she will tell you the realistic timeline before you commit.
Do I need to be in Hong Kong to do this? +
No. Most of the setup is handled remotely. You will need to provide identity and address documents, and some banks may ask for a call or a visit, but you do not need to fly out just to incorporate. Jan will flag anything that genuinely needs you in person.
Can you help me open a business bank account? +
Yes. Banking is the part people find hardest on their own. Jan makes an introduction to a bank suited to your business and helps get your file in the right shape first, which makes approval far more likely. She cannot guarantee any bank's decision, but she stacks the odds in your favour.
What taxes will my company pay? +
Hong Kong keeps it simple, with a low profits tax rate and no tax on many kinds of foreign-sourced income. What actually applies depends on your business and where your profits arise, so Jan will walk you through your specific position rather than hand you a generic answer.
I already have a company. Can you just take over the compliance? +
Absolutely. Plenty of clients come across from another provider. Jan reviews where things stand, cleans up anything overdue, and takes over the secretary, accounting and filings so you have one person on it going forward.
What does it cost? +
Formation starts at a fixed fee, and ongoing compliance is a set annual price. You agree the number before any work starts. See the pricing page for the packages, or ask for a quote tailored to your situation.
Which countries can you set up in? +
Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Vietnam. If you are looking at somewhere else in the region, ask. Jan will tell you honestly whether she is the right person for it.
Do you only do incorporation, or the ongoing stuff too? +
Both. Incorporation is the start. The real value is in keeping the company compliant and healthy afterwards: bookkeeping, tax, annual filings, and advice when a big decision comes up. You can take just the setup, or hand the whole lot over.
